Clay Soldiers

The Clay Soldiers in the Living Forest.

The Clay Soldiers are ancient stone statues that are brought to life by the will of a sorcerer. They are enemies featured in Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks, and commonly appear in the Living Forest stage.

These forgotten and lifeless statues of royal soldiers that seem to be intricate and interesting archeaological finds, are actually of Outworld design and origin. They were enchanted and brought to life by sorcery. Once they are animated, the Clay Soldiers are simply controlled by any outside force, or even a person with knowledge in or gifted with magic. They will attack anyone and anything that stands in their path.

The Clay Soldiers are mostly found in the Living Forest.

The Clay Soldiers are loosely and greatly modeled after the Dragon King's Army, built to honor the memory of the fallen empire of Outworld's first sovereign ruler.

Trivia

  • The Clay Soldiers seem to be incredibly based on the Terracotta Army.
  • There are also statues of royal priests similar to the Clay Soldiers, found in the Lost Tomb, which is the final resting place of the Dragon King and his followers.
