Dark Khan is a character and end boss of Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe.

[edit] History

Shao Khan and Darkseid fusing.
Dark Kahn was created when both Shao Khan and Darkseid were being defeated in the same space of their separate worlds. Whilst both attempted to flee through portals which were destabilized, the act resulted in a link between the two universes. Due to the immense force used to defeat them and their own power being leaked as they were defeated, a black hole was created causing a rip in the fabrics of their separate worlds, causing both Shao Kahn and Darkseid to merge together along with the Mortal Kombat and DC Universe worlds.

When the heroes attempted to find a means to stop the merger, they met their opposite universe counterparts at which point Dark Kahn revealed himself. He then used the power of the Rage to cause them to fight. After the battle, Superman and Raiden battled Dark Kahn himself. Being defeated in the battle, Kahn exploded as his unstable energies resulted in his destruction though his two component parts reformed back to their formal selves. When defeated, Darkseid and Shao Kahn have switched universes, Darkseid in the Mortal Kombat universe and Shao Kahn in the DCU. They are then imprisoned, Shao Kahn in the Phantom Zone, and Darkseid in the Netherrealm.

[edit] Behind the scenes

Not much is known about him other then he is the outcome of Shao Kahn and Darkseid's accidental fusion. It is thought that Dark Kahn has a large part to do with due to his appearance in the Kollectors Edition Komic when a character goes into rage mode (e.g. He is seen with an evil look on the Captain Marvel vs. Raiden page).
