This ancient structure known as the Dragon King's Temple, or sometimes the Temple of the Dragon King, is located in Dragon Mountain within the Realm of Outworld. This temple is part of a huge complex that is connected to an inner pyramid called the Lost Tomb.

This arena made its debut in Mortal Kombat: Deception as the arena where kombatants face Onaga the Dragon King, the game's final boss and Outworld's legendary king.

This arena has two dragon-like statues by the entrance and a six-pointed star located on the floor, each point connecting to a claw-like pedastal holding a Kamidogu around the edge of the fighting area. And presiding over the arena is the Throne of Dragon King (the Dragon King's Throne) which possessed the Amulet of Shinnok placed upon its headrest. But beware, the outer rim of this arena is also lined with spikes that the Dragon King could knock his enemies into.

When a character destroys a Kamidogu, the opponent, like the Dragon King for an example, becomes stunned and weakened for a few seconds. Players who venture too closely to the edge of the platform can be knocked into the spikes, giving their opponent an instant win for that round.
