Duroc, older brother of Prince Goro
Duroc (Prince Duroc) is a non-canon character that appears as Prince Goro's older brother in the Mortal Kombat: The Journey Begins.
The two fought in the bottomless pit for a rare, jeweled egg with which they would pay tribute to their father, King Gorbak. The battle ended with Goro hanging off a cliff. Duroc helped his brother back up, but was betrayed by him and knocked off of the cliff himself. Goro took the egg to pay tribute to their father and became the new and only Shokan Prince from that day forward.
