History[]

Altar of Princess Adrina

The Altar and Gem of Princess Adrina, one of the 5 founders of Sinkiang (Outworld), and 3 settlers of Sin Kiang (Earthrealm).

Not much known about Adrina, other then she along with her other companions built the underground city of Sinkiang. Her fellow settlers and dear friends were named Eliza, Kang, Rihiana, and Tsung. They said she was the youngest and pure-hearted of them all. Adrina and her other compatriots took it upon themselves as regal rulers of the city with Adrina herself only as a princess, and ruled it together. They all lived within Sinkiang in a prosperous time when Outworld was currently ruled by a very powerful king.

Until the warlord Shao Kahn rose to power and took over Outworld. Fearing being subjugated to the tyrant's rule, the founders of Sinkiang devised a plan to escaped his wrath by retreating to an unknown realm with the use of a portal they secretly created. The three queens decided to use the doorway, though Princess Adrina fears for King Kang and King Tsung, knowing that the two would be left behind.

When the three arrived, they were in a mountainous region within an unknown world. That realm is Earthrealm. Adrina alongside her two dear friends Eliza and Rihiana then begin their settlement here with the help of human Earthrealmers they stumbled across and asked for help. Together they built a city named Sin Kiang. The trio of Outworld queens who became the only ruling council of the city, were often worshipped by these Earthrealm natives as goddesses because of their unusual lifespan and their awesome magic. Many years later, the three Outworlders who wanted a better life, simply died of old age, and the city of Sin Kiang began to be deserted. It would remain forgotten for centuries to come.

Memory of Princess Ardrina[]

Centuries later, Major Jax Briggs while on the pursuit of the criminal mastermind Kano, tracked his whereabouts to the ancient city of Sin Kiang in the Xinjiang province of China.
