Duroc, older brother of Prince Goro
Duroc (Prince Duroc) is a non-canon character who made his first and last appearance as Prince Goro's older brother in Mortal Kombat: The Journey Begins.
The two fought above a bottomless pit for a rare, jeweled Nika egg with which they would pay tribute to their father. The battle ended when Goro was hanging onto a cliff. Duroc helped his brother back up but he was betrayed by Goro and was knocked off the cliff. Goro took the egg to pay tribute to their father. He became the new and only Shokan Prince from that day forward.
