Classic Mortal Kombat Logo
The Mortal Kombat Logo is the symbol of the Mortal Kombat franchise. A real trademark to the Mortal Kombat universe, the dragon shown on the symbol is said to be a depiction of the Elder Gods in their purest forms. The Mortal Kombat Logo makes an appearance in several arenas of the games, as well as some movie adaptations. It bears a resemblance to the T'ai-chi t'u symbol that depicts "Yin and Yang".
Appearances in Other Media[]
In the 1995 film Mortal Kombat, the dragon mark can be seen in various place, such as the invitation to the Mortal Kombat Tournament and the arena of the final battle.
In the film Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, there is a dragon mark on Shao Kahn. After his defeat by Liu Kang, the mark left him as a dragon, while Shao Kahn became a shrunken corpse.
In the 2021 film Mortal Kombat, each Earthrealm champion has a dragon mark on their body, allowing them to wake the arcana within.
