Mortal Kombat : Armageddon was released in 2006 on the PS2 and XBOX, and a year later in 2007 it was released on the Wii.
Mortal Kombat : Armageddon contains an abundance of 'Kontent'. Konquest mode makes a return and is an absolute blast to play, focusing on the story of Taven and his brother Daegon (two new characters introduced in this game). Instead of 'Chess Kombat' and 'Puzzle Kombat' from Mortal Kombat : Deception, we have a new mode here called 'Motor Kombat'. Think of it as 'Mario Kart meets MK'; it's great fun and is a good way to mix things up if you get tired of Arcade mode or Konquest mode.
Also, Mortal Kombat : Armageddon does away with unique fatalities for each character and replaces them with the generic 'Kreate-a-Fatality' system, which i'm not too fond of. There is even a 'Kreate-a-Fighter' mode, which allows you to make your own unique combatant (but with an already enormous character roster, is that necessary?).
Overall, Mortal Kombat : Armageddon is a great game simply due to it's abundance of 'Kontent'. Without the extra 'Kontent' though, you can see that it houses a fighting engine beginning to show it's age, and lacks both depth and technicality.
