Klose Kombat is a gameplay mechanic featured in Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe. It has so far only appeared in this game, serving as a second type of grab.

When a kombatant performs a certain grab, the two characters lock-in with each other at close range and the perspective changes to a close-up of the two, to make for an interval of close-quarters fighting. The instigator can then attack the opponent, who in turn must match their attacks in order to perform a kounter and break free. A combo of up to four attacks can be made.
