TaiGore

TaiGores are fictional creatures in the Mortal Kombat fighting game series.

The TaiGores are canine-like beasts with horns instead of ears, four blue eyes, and blades at the tip of their tails.

A TaiGore can be seen in Shao Kahn's throne room within his palace, just to his left. A sleeping TaiGore can be seen in the Outworld Marketplace in Mortal Kombat X.

Trivia[]

In Kung Lao's Babality, he throws his hat and a TaiGore tramples him while chasing it. This could be a reference to his Friendship in Mortal Kombat 3, where a dog chases the hat, yelps loudly, then Kung Lao shakes his head in disappointment.
The TaiGores are a bit similar to the Netherrealm Hounds from Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero.
The name "TaiGore" is a play on the words "tiger" and "gore" due to their similar appearance and characteristics, and status as dangerous beasts.
In a pre-fight intro of Shang Tsung vs Kitana in Mortal Kombat 1, she threatens him to feed him to a taigore if he would continue lying telling lies about Mileena.
