Hell's Foundry is an arena in the Mortal Kombat series. It is both an amazing weapons factory and an old location in Outworld. It first appeared in Mortal Kombat: Deception, then returned in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon.
It was also in the Mortal Kombat: Deception PSP port, Mortal Kombat: Unchained.
Overview[]
Onaga's army became busy within the Foundry to create weapons and armor for future battles. Conveyor belts were used along with automated cauldrons to pour hot liquid steel while giant forging dies pound repeatedly, which makes the Foundry appear quite active. Distant factories were known to populate the horizon.
In Hell’s Foundry, giant dies begin to shape newly cast slabs of metal, and crush any kombatant foolish enough to stray near. They will be used to make the instruments of war needed to defend the Dragon King’s reign as the ruler of Outworld.
Trivia[]
- This arena made its debut in Mortal Kombat: Deception and has returned in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon as an unlockable stage.
- This stage also contains one of the few death glitches in the games, as a double pop-up attack (Cyrax's bombs, Uppercut Punches, etc.) could knock both players into the foundry press.
