  • The Immortals originally recorded an entirely different version of the Mortal Kombat theme for use with the movie entitled Techno Syndrome ('97 Mix) which opened with samples of "Choose Your Destiny" and other Shao Kahn commentary quotes. The track which bore a far closer production resemblance to the classic Techno Syndrome (7" Mix) was made available only on the rare promotional pre-release EP for the soundtrack.
