The Netherrealm is an arena in Mortal Kombat Gold, and is essentially an altered version of Scorpion's Lair from Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3.
Overview
- The battle takes places in a small throne room, but in the background, behind the throne, the familiar pillars of skeletal remains from Scorpion's Lair can be seen with the lava casting its reddish glow.
- It is unknown who the throne belongs to, but it is probable that it belongs to the ruler of the Netherrealm, namely either Lucifer or Shinnok, depending on the time.
