The Netherrealm Cliffs is a dangerous location within the Netherrealm.

OverviewEdit

The Cliffs was a large fiery mountain with lava flowing down its surface. It was a required travel if one wished to reach Shinnok's Spire. This mountain was subject to numerous meteor impacts from large fireballs that crashed and wounded anyone that was near the impact region. Numerous gates were present which denied entry further down the cliffs but by manipulating the pressure plates, a traveller was capable of opening them. At the foot of the cliffs were lakes of lava. These giant rocky platforms at the cliffs were floatting because they were forever suspended by the concetrated dark magical powers of the fallen Elder God Shinnok, the supreme master of the Netherrealm.

The largest arena in the game, with no death traps or destructible features.

Taven was teleported here by Caro, to search for his brother Daegon. In here he was forced to travel down the Cliffs whilst fighting the Undead and even the Oni Tormentor Drahmin in order to reach Shinnok.
