Ninjitsu (properly, "Ninjutsu"), sometimes called ninpō, is a martial art, strategy, and tactic of unconventional warfare and guerrilla warfare as well as the art of espionage purportedly practiced by the ninjas.

While there are several styles of "modern ninjutsu", the historicity and lineage of these styles is disputed.

Mortal KombatEdit

In Mortal Kombat lore, the style was said to have been developed by Takeda when he split from the Lin Kuei to form a rival clan, the Shirai Ryu.

It is used as primary fighting style by Cyrax in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance and Armageddon, and by Sektor in Mortal Kombat: Tournament Edition, because of him being a palette swap of Cyrax in that game.

In Deadly Alliance's Konquest mode, it is said that Ninjitsu is Cyrax's preferred fighting style among the many he learned with the Lin Kuei.

Ninjitsu is one of the only fighting styles made up of several other fighting styles, like hand to hand combat & illusionary combat.
