Scorpion's Lair in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon

Scorpion's Lair is a hidden arena in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, located in the Netherrealm.

Overview

Like other Konquest stages, this arena has no Deathtraps or weapons. It is where the undead ninja warrior Scorpion keeps his captive prisoners and also where he fights the warriors he captured and transported them to this fighting arena of his.

While Taven was near the gates of the Edenian Ruins in the Southlands of Edenia in his quest to prevent Armageddon, Scorpion appears and teleports Taven to his lair to fight.

At the end of the battle as Scorpion was defeated by the Edenian demi-god, his brother Daegon comes to finish the job himself in order to be the only new Protector god of Edenia. Just as him and Taven were about to fight in Scorpion's Lair, Blaze comes in and stops the fight as he teleports them to the Ruins outside the Pyramid of Argus.

Trivia

  • The background music of this stage is the same music as the Hell stage and the Netherrealm Cliffs stage.
  • This is the second appearance of Scorpion's Lair. The first one was in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 which clearly took place in Hell.
  • Scorpion is fought in this arena during the Armageddon Konquest mode.
