Mortal Kombat II: Skarlet was named Scarlet, she was red Kitana, while there was too Shawn, red Mileena rumored. This is interesting we have Ruby in cartoon, but she looks more like Frost. You forgot about Blaze (named Torch oficially, Inferno by fans) from Mortal Kombat II, fans saw him not as Liu-Kang, but as hidden flaming ninja (really you can find many fan arts as him, as flaming ninja on old sites). But Midway planned him as normal guy with flaming hairs, as we can see in some of official arts. Hornubuckle, green Liu-Kang is also forgotted, he is believed to be hidden character.
And about Mortal Kombat 4 : Please add Kitana, she is really in MK4 and looks different from her Gold counterpant. 89.77.94.33 18:55, March 2, 2010 (UTC)

- Yeah, Hornbuckle was a rumored character. One of Jade's clues was "Hornbuckle who?". Also, Aqua's full name was Aquallus Hydroxybot, I saw his MKT ending posted on MKO. Watchdog was an MKII rumor, like Shawn. Viper was a rumored cyberninja in 3. Kitana is playable in 4 with cheat devices, Tanya took her spot in the final game like Reiko did with Noob.

The console versions of of mortal kombat 4/ and mortal kombat gold let you play as him

Borrowing fatalities[]
Mortal Kombat secret characters are confusing. For exaple, I know that Reptile has same moves/fatalities as Scorpion and Sub-Zero. But how do you know that Scorpion or Sub-Zero are a pallete swap of Reptile.The same for Smoke, Jade, Noob Saibot, Chameleon, and Khameleon.72.199.44.212 06:05, January 20, 2011 (UTC)
- Well, I never knew you could legitimately play as Classic Reptile from the original Mortal Kombat. I've always wanted that privilege, but I'm aware of some hacks and cheats that allow you to play as him. I can't verify that he has the same fatalities as Scorpion and Sub-Zero, but he does have their signature moves, which are Scorpion's Spear, Sub-Zero's Freeze and Slide.
