If you have seen Triborg's ending, you know it ends with him founding the Tekunin, a clan of cyber ninjas. In the Original Timeline, Sektor founded the clan after he was exiled from the Lin Kuei. But it was destroyed in the Battle of Armageddon. As we all know, Sektor and Cyrax were killed in the X comics, but their concionsness was merged into Triborg, along with Smoke's conscioness with "Enenra" in Smoke's body (I'm assuming concionsness=soul). If this lore is deemed canon, it not only means Sektor and Cyrax are still alive and that Smoke's true self still exists. But it also means the Tekunin could exist again.

Do any of you think the Tekunin should return in the new timeline? Should Sektor, Cyrax and Smoke remain merged as Triborg? Should they get new robot bodies? Should Smoke become a robot like in the original timeline? Should Cyrax once again break free or should someone else? Should Triborg's ending have some canon in it?
