Once again, shit happened.

The Australian market has impeded the development in this region of Mortal Kombat for the PlayStation Vita. Although the country is in the process of updating its laws to allow the age rating for 18 years, this will not happen until 2013. Therefore, continue to use legislation only provides for the classification by age until age 15.

As with so many games before, the Australian classification system has refused to grant an age rating to fighting games, which implies a de facto censorship, because the title can not be sold without the certification process.

In the report published by the responsible agency, it is indicated that the title has been modified to reduce the level of violence, but this has not been enough to get approval.
